Meet the Team

SWE Tech Team 2019 We are members of the Society of Women Engineers Tech Team, a group of twelve women in a variety of class-levels and engineering disciplines. Each year, Tech Team chooses a problem facing the residents of South Bend and aims to develop an innovative engineering solution. This year, we hope to address lead contamination within household environments; we are hoping that our solutions can be cost-effective and simple so that they are feasible options for almost any homeowner. We feel that this is an important problem because lead poisoning is preventable and most frequently affects young children.
